Giulia Amati is an Italo-French producer and filmmaker, born in France and presently based in Rome. She graduated in Philosophy and studied Digital Video Production at the New York University. In 2013 she founded the production company Blink Blink Prod and since then she has produced and directed short films, social media campaigns and two long feature length documentaries: This is my land… Hebron, which won more than 20 international awards, and Shashamane which was co produced with Rai Cinema in 2016.Her studies and her work have led her to live in different countries including France, Italy, the United States of America, Denmark, Serbia and Ethiopia. She has filmed on her own in difficult contexts such as in the Occupied Palestine Territories, in Africa, in Jamaica and others.
