Giorgio is a filmmaker, architect and musician. He made his directorial debut with the documentary "OWNED: A Tale of Two Americas," a film about the legacy of racial injustice of the US housing economy. The film premiered on Independent Lens/PBS and garnered over 1.5M viewers. Giorgio went on to collaborate with the animator on OWNED, Arthur Jones, on their next film, "Feels Good Man," which premiered at Sundance 2020 and won a Special Jury Prize for Emerging Filmmaker. The film went on to win an Emmy. A strong believer that all good art is political, Giorgio's documentary work often deals with systems of injustice, but always with a focus on creating cinematic experiences.
