Subobscura Films produces feature films, documentaries, and artistic projects. Subobscura Films seeks to collaborate with artists, filmmakers, and other production companies to engage in a discourse about cinema that explores what is hidden beneath the dark. Theses subobscuric endeavors can result in collaborations, national or international co-productions or something not yet explored. Subobscura films was founded in 2014 by writer-director-producer Georg Tiller in Vienna, Austria. In 2017 Subobscura Films opened together with French Malagasy filmmaker and producer Maéva Ranaïvojaona an office in Paris, France.
