Michael Jiřinec studies at the Department of Documentary Filmmaking at FAMU where he is currently in his final year of masters programme. He participated as a script editor on a short animated documentary "S P A C E S" (2020) by Nora Štrbová which premiered at Vision du Réel, screened at the prestigious IDFA, Ji.hlava IDFF and many others. In his own work he focuses on auteur cinema.
