Tereza Plavecká studied Media and Communication Studies and Public and Social Policy at Charles University. She is the co-founder and organiser of the Bardzo fajny festival od Polish Films. She creates documentary portraits for the Czech Radio podcast. In 2017, she made a short film The Forest, which received a special mention from the jury of the My Street Films competition, and in 2022, a short film The Crossing, which received the main award in the My Street Films competition and was screened at the Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival 2022. Now the film is a part of the international Czech-German short film project Feinkošt. She is developing her middle short about voices of women.
