Founded in 2005 by Roch Bozino, Java Films rapidly established itself as one of Europe’s leading independent distributors, providing pre-sales and distribution for documentaries. Our boutique feature department takes on 6 – 8 feature documentaries a year, while our TV department works with approximately 60 – 80 titles per year. To that end, Java is divided into three departments, which work closely together: our festival department, our digital department and our sales department. In 2022, our documentaries screened at 140 festivals around the world, winning 33 awards & 10 special mentions.
