Matej Sotník is a producer and partner at guča films independent production based in Bratislava and co-founder and creative director of FILM EXPANDED Distribution Company. His producers' debut "Notes from the Eremocene" (dir. Viera Čákanyová) premiered at the 73rd Berlinale at Forum and has been screened or nominated at many other international film festivals around the world. Currently he is (co)producing 5 feature length creative documentaries such as dystopian "World Of Walls" (dir. Lucia Kašová) set in South Africa, "The Other One" (dir. Marie-Magdalena Kochová) or "It's Not Your Fault" and "Rocks" (dir. Paula Ďurinová). He co-produces his films with Czechia, Austria, Germany or Netherlands partnering with with broadcasters. He is a co-founder of the Slovak Documentary Film Association
